José Santana-Pereira is an Assistant Professor at ESPP – Department of Political Science and Public Policy and Integrated Researcher at CIES-ISCTE-IUL.

He holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences (EUI, Florence, 2012). José’s past research has been focused on the media effects on public opinion and, more recently, in the study of media systems in comparative perspective. His research interests also include electoral behavior and political attitudes (namely attitudes towards Europe).
