Book Launch Event “From Geringonça to Absolute Majority – The Political Situation in Portugal and Europe” by André Freire

On the upcoming 29th of October 2023, at 11 a.m., at the Port of Setúbal, Quay 3, there will be a book launch event for “From Geringonça to Absolute Majority – The Political Situation in Portugal and Europe,” followed by a book signing session with the author, Professor Dr. André Freire, published by Gato-Bravo Publishers. The book will be available for purchase at this location, and admission is free.

André Freire is director of the Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation, full professor and director of the PhD in Political Science at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Throughout his career as a teacher and researcher, he has directed various research projects on ideology, electoral behavior, political institutions and reforms, and political representation.

The launch is part of the programme for the Book and Political Disc Fair, organized by Setúbal Town Hall and curated by journalist Pedro Tadeu. The fair takes place from 26/10/2023 (Thursday) to 29/10/2023 (Sunday) and has a varied program with presentations of literary works, meetings with authors, lectures and exhibitions of articles from publishers and bookshops, as well as concerts and a children’s area.
