Between quiescence and revolt: everyday practices and collective action
On Wednesday, December 11, at 5 p.m., in a hybrid format, the seminar “Between quiescence and revolt: everyday practices and collective action” will take place as part of the Seminar on Social Movements and Political Action.
The seminar will feature the participation of political scientist Marco Allegra, Principal Researcher at ICS-ULisboa and Associate Researcher at CIES-Iscte. With research on the spatial and urban dimension of politics, democracy and governance, Allegra is the author of articles published in journals such as Political Geography, Citizenship Studies, Mediterranean Politics, The Geography Compass, Environment and Planning A, Urban Studies, International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Dialogues in Human Geography, Planning Theory and Practice, European Planning Studies. Organized by Guya Accornero and Tiago Carvalho, the Social Movements and Political Action Seminar takes place every month and promotes multidisciplinary reflection on issues related to social movements and different forms of political action, dialoguing different perspectives, methodologies and approaches.
