The Observatory takes part in the 2024 Employability Forum<\/h2>\n

The Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation<\/strong> took part, as a research unit of CIES-Iscte, in the 5th edition of the Employability Forum<\/strong>, a networking initiative for the Iscte community organised by the School of Sociology and Public Policy (ESPP) and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (ECSH).<\/p>\n

The event aims to provide ECSH and ESPP students and recent graduates with new knowledge and networking opportunities, helping them develop employability skills and the tools to adapt to the challenges of a demanding and ever-changing labour market. Under the motto \u201cMake your own way\u201d, the 2024 edition focused on youth employment, diverse career paths and strategies for success, with workshops and stands from organisations and companies.<\/p>\n

CIES was represented by its research units \u2013 nascer.pt, the Portuguese Observatory of Cultural Activities, the Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation and the Methodological Innovation Laboratory \u2013 which provided visitors with information on research careers, their work and projects, and possible opportunities for collaboration, internships and employment. The Observatory was represented by Livino Neto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
