The report provides an in-depth analysis of the current state of global democracy, with a special focus on democratic developments in Portuguese-speaking countries. The Portuguese translation aims to reach a wider audience, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and awareness about the challenges and advances in democratic governance.<\/p>\n<p>The session starts at\u00a0<strong>4pm in Auditorium B2.03<\/strong>\u00a0(Iscte Building 2) and will be attended by the Director of CEI-Iscte,\u00a0<strong>Professor Ana M\u00f3nica Fonseca<\/strong>, who will introduce the initiative, and\u00a0<strong>Professor Tiago Fernandes<\/strong>, Associate Professor at Iscte, Integrated Researcher at CEI-Iscte and Director of the V-Dem Regional Centre for Southern Europe, who will present the theme \u2018Democratisation and Autocratization in the Lusophone World, 1974-2024\u2019. The session\u2019s discussant will be\u00a0<strong>Professor Rui Gra\u00e7a Feij\u00f3<\/strong>, from the Institute of Contemporary History (NOVA Lisbon University).<br \/>\nAdmission is free.<\/p>\n<p>This session is organised by CEI-Iscte, in collaboration with the School of Sociology and Public Policy and the V-Dem Institute.<br \/>\nYou can access the Portuguese version of the report\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/v-dem.net\/publications\/democracy-reports\/\">here<\/a>.
