“Protracted peace processes, identities and conflict: The case of Israel and Palestine” is the theme of the discussion held by the PhD in Political Science, with a specialization in international relations, at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, on Monday, April 8, 2023, at 6pm.
With the participation of Joana Ricarte, Researcher at the Instituto Jurídico (IJ) and the Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares (CEIS20) of the University of Coimbra, and moderation by Giulia Daniele, Assistant Professor at Iscte and Integrated Researcher at CEI-Iscte, the event is organized by CIES-Iscte in partnership with CEI-Iscte and the Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation.
Joana Ricarte is a historian and political scientist with expertise in identity and conflict studies and author of “The Impact of Protracted Peace Processes on Identities in Conflict: the case of Israel and Palestine (Palgrave MacMillan, 2023)”.
