Viriato Queiroga

Research fellow

Holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Political Science from ISCTE-IUL – Lisbon University Institute. Since 2011, he has worked as a junior researcher at CIES-ISCTE-IUL, participating in several projects, both national and international, having already several communications and publications to his name. He has performed teaching duties, as a Teaching Assistant between 2014 and 2018, essentially focusing on the follow-up of students, in the scope of methodologies, ideological and partisan issues, and political behavioral science.

He is currently a PhD student in Political Science at ISCTE-IUL-Lisbon University Institute and is a researcher at the Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation from CIES-ISCTE-IUL.

Among others, his main research interests are: public policy on the agenda-setting stage, political decision-making, personality, research methodologies, tolerance, deliberation and political participation.
