Following the interdisciplinary conference “Da Austeridade à Pandemia. Portugal e a Europa entre crises e inovações”, held on June 17 and 18, 2021 at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, with researchers from the various disciplinary areas of the “Politics and Citizenship” Group of CIES-Iscte, soon, we hope to edit the result of the papers presented in the book: “Da Austeridade à Pandemia. Portugal e Europa entre crises e inovações”, organized by André Freire, Guya Acornero, Viriato Queiroga, Maria Asensio, Helena Belchior and José Santana Pereira, which is expected to be published by Mundos Sociais

Based on the contributions of several researchers, the publication is planned to contemplate four major topics: “Crises and Innovations: The Perspectives of Social Work”; “Crises and Innovations: the Perspectives of Public Policy”; “Crises and Innovations: the Perspectives of Sociology”; “Crises and Innovations: the Perspectives of Political Science”.
