SUMMARY:Contemporary Challenges to Social Movement Studies
DESCRIPTION:The Seminar on Social Movements and Political Action, which will take place on March 6th at 2pm, will have the theme “Contemporary Challenges to Social Movement Studies”. The event is organized by Guya Accornero (CIES-Iscte) and Tiago Carvalho (CIES-Iscte) in partnership with the Social Movement Research Network – Council of European Studies.\nThe event will feature Lorenzo Zamponi (Scuola Normale Superiore, European Consortium for Political Research & Società Italiana di Scienza Politica); Simin Fadaee (University of Manchester, International Sociological Association); Elena Pavan (University of Trento, European Sociological Association) and will be moderated by Guya Accornero (Iscte, Council of European Studies).
