The book will be available for purchase at this location, and admission is free.\nAs mentioned on the publisher’s website, “The book ‘From ‘Geringonça’ to an absolute majority – the political situation in Portugal and Europe,’ by professor and political scientist André Freire, gathers chronicles published in Jornal de Letras from 2017 to 2022, in Público from 2022 to 2023, in Seara Nova, and on the blog Vaca Voadora.” (https://www.editoragatobravo.pt/produtos/da-geringonca-a-maioria-absoluta/ ( https://www.editoragatobravo.pt/produtos/da-geringonca-a-maioria-absoluta/ )).\nAndré Freire is director of the Observatory of Democracy and Political Representation, full professor and director of the PhD in Political Science at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Throughout his career as a teacher and researcher, he has directed various research projects on ideology, electoral behavior, political institutions and reforms, and political representation.\nThe launch is part of the programme for the Book and Political Disc Fair, organized by Setúbal Town Hall and curated by journalist Pedro Tadeu. The fair takes place from 26/10/2023 (Thursday) to 29/10/2023 (Sunday) and has a varied program with presentations of literary works, meetings with authors, lectures and exhibitions of articles from publishers and bookshops, as well as concerts and a children’s area.
